Coachella 2025 is turning the Indio desert into a full-blown glamorous fever dream. This year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is split across two weekends: April 11–13 and April 18–20, all set in the sun-drenched Empire Polo Club, Indio, California. It's streaming live, of course, for all of us with commitment issues and a fear of dust.

Missy Elliott: Futurism in Full Force

Now, let’s talk Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott. Her set was a visual and sonic assault on the senses, in the best way possible. Robotic backup dancers? Check. Holographic elements? Obviously. Hits like “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” and the eternal banger “Lose Control” were served alongside trippy new visuals and beats that felt beamed in from 3025. Her stage looked like Tron met an Afrofuturist fashion show, and she somehow made an interdimensional portal out of fog and LED screens. You haven’t lived until you've seen “Pass That Dutch” with pyrotechnics and a hoverbike entrance.

Post Malone, Travis Scott, Green Day… It's a Buffet of Vibes

Headliners this year also include Post Malone, Travis Scott, and the ever-rebellious Green Day, proving Coachella’s 2025 lineup is a musical buffet: moody acoustic ballads, rage-worthy trap, and punk for the over-30s who still crowd-surf.

First-Time Faves and Fan-Service

• Benson Boone brought emotional crooning and a surprise duet with Queen’s Brian May on “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Gen Z cried. Millennials cried. Brian May probably cried.

• Tyla, one of the breakout queens of 2025, teamed up with Becky G to deliver a sensual, powerful performance of “On My Body.”

• GloRilla pulled off a set that looked like it was co-directed by Area 51 and Love & Hip Hop. She even sampled Keyshia Cole’s “Love”—iconic behavior.

• Lisa from BLACKPINK took command of the Sahara Stage for a jaw-dropping solo debut, with choreography so sharp it probably registered on the Richter scale.
