At DIA'ANI TV | MIAMI, we are proud to spotlight transformative opportunities that uplift our creative communities. Today, we invite grassroots and emerging arts organizations across Miami-Dade County to step into a powerful new chapter through the Arts Access Miami Catalyst Grant Program.
What Is the Catalyst Grant Program?
The Arts Access Miami Catalyst Grant Program is a two-year funding initiative designed to strengthen small, community-rooted arts organizations delivering meaningful arts education to youth.
Through this program:
15 organizations will be selected
Each will receive $10,000 annually for two years (totaling $20,000)
Funding supports school-based arts programming, including after-school and in-school activities
But let’s be clear—this is not merely about funding. It is about building institutions.
Participants will join a dynamic cohort, gaining access to:
Capacity-building workshops
Strategic planning support
Partnership development opportunities
Data and storytelling training
In other words, this is an ecosystem—not a handout.
Who Should Apply?
This opportunity is tailored for organizations that:
Center visual arts, dance, theatre, or multidisciplinary arts
Serve (or plan to serve) youth in North and South Dade
Operate as grassroots or early-stage nonprofits
Have budgets under $500,000 annually
Are ready to engage deeply in collaboration and growth
Even if you are not yet working within Miami-Dade County Public Schools, a clear pathway to doing so is sufficient. Yes, ambition is allowed—provided it is credible.
Where Will Programs Take Place?
Selected organizations will work within school feeder patterns including:
Miami Carol City
Miami Norland
Homestead
South Dade
Southridge
These are not arbitrary locations—they are communities where equitable access to arts education is both urgent and impactful.

Award Announcements: By May 1, 2026
Program Launch: September 1, 2026
